Acetaminophen is not a Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID), the other main type of analgesic. Ibuprofen, aspirin, and naproxen sodium are NSAIDs and different from acetaminophen.
Warnings for Acetaminophen in Adults
Liver warning: It may cause serious liver damage if you take more than 4,000 mg of acetaminophen in 24 hours, along with other medications containing acetaminophen or 3 or more alcoholic drinks per day while using this product. Consult with a doctor before using if you have liver disease.
