A key way to prevent headaches is to discover what factors affect you.
Keep a record of when headaches occur and what happened in the hours leading up to the onset. Some important questions to consider when exploring ways to prevent a headache include:
- Did you eat? What did you have for lunch and at what time?
- Were you indoors or outdoors? Bright or fluorescent lights are a common trigger for migraines.
- Was there any strong smell, perfumes, or odors?
In cases of nighttime headaches, take NOTTS PM, which not only helps relieve pain but also aids in falling asleep.
